I started a community for it: x365

Now that you're doing this, maybe everyone else on my flist who said they would but still haven't will now.

uhm.. i don't get it.

well, did you read the description? all it you have to do is write a few words about 365 different people who have touched your life at some point. the challenge is to come up with those people as well as what to write about them.

i read it, but it was confusing.

so where are i writing this? and how long do i have? haha.

you start writing it in your blog and you have as long as 365 days?

i was just confused at the part about the 365 people? are they people you have to know personally?
and do i have to write one a day, or can i do 365 in one day? haha.

ohh lol, yeah i get how that's confusing. no you don't have to know them personally, but i believe they aren't supposed to be like celebrities or musicians or anyone "famous" but actual people who have affected your life. people you knew in passing, people you see everyday, people you went to class with, etc.

and you have to write one a day. or at least try to.

there are no "rules". i think the site said that those are "guidelines", suggestions, etc. it can be whatever you want to make it be. i'm going to write about someone famous (because you asked for more entries about my crushes!).

if someone can do 365 in one day, they are my new hero. i have a hard time doing even 5-6 in a day (to catch up on the ones i missed).

haha oh ok, i guess your interpretation of the crush thing with someone famous makes sense, but i'm going to try and not do famous people. it might be hard, but i guess it does make sense that they could have affected your life in some way. then it would be easier to get to 365 :P

well, i'm not following any rules with mine other than the one a day part, and technically i broke that too since i've missed a bunch and am just backdating them now.

1. i'm not sticking with a set number of words
2. i didn't make a list of who before i started
3. i'm not writing *about* the person; i'm writing about what/who they were to me, sometimes in the format of 2nd person and/or unsent letters.

i'd also lump the lj users i've written about in the famous people category since i've never met them *shrugh*

it's more fun without such rigid rules. i'm writing it in a way that means something to me. but that also means i'm more frustrated for slacking off on it.

so where's your #1, miss start yesterday? *g*

haha i just posted it. but i had it written out from a couple of days ago. i never got around to putting it up. backdated, of course. oh well to it being kind of long, heh. ;)

i guess i'm going by your rules then, hehe. because i like the idea of posting about who those people were to me, rather than just who they are. i am definitely going to do some ljers too.
